ABOUT HENRI DAUSSI

Founded over 60 years ago in Antwerp, Belgium, the diamond capital of the world, Henri Daussi is an example of expertise and passion for diamonds passed on from generation to generation. Cutting the world’s most brilliant diamonds and creating only the finest jewelry has forever been a Loots family tradition.

Henri Daussi Loots, grandfather to Jeff and Kristiaan Loots (who lead the family business today), was born and raised in Antwerp, Belgium. He was taught the art of diamond cutting at a young age by his father, who in turn learned the diamond trade from his father. After years of experience, Henri became a respected master diamond cutter and worked for other diamond manufacturers to cut only their most unique and significant diamonds.

Today, Henri Daussi is headquartered in New York City and is available at only the finest jewelry retailers across the US and Canada, including Bremer Jewelry!

THE DAUSSI DIFFERENCES

DIRECT, CONFLICT-FREE SOURCING

Henri Daussi sources their diamonds directly from mines. They have contract with various mining companies and relationships with governments which allow them exclusive rights and access to some of the most sought after rough diamonds in the world. This also means they know exactly where their diamonds are coming from and can guarantee with 100% confidence that they are conflict free.

UNIQUE, ONE-OF-A KIND ENGAGEMENT RING SETTINGS

Each rough diamond is carefully and masterfully cut to maximize its brilliance and value. Since each diamond is uniquely cut, each setting must then be crafted to precisely fit the diamond. So while Daussi design styles are similar, each ring is actually it’s own unique interpretation of that style based on the diamond it holds.

THE DAUSSI CUSHION CUT™

Henri Daussi is the largest manufacturer of cushion cut diamonds in the world. They have so much experience with cushions that they patented their own perfected cushion cut. The Daussi Cushion ™ is cut according to unique dimensions designed by the Loots family, which makes the diamond face up 10-30% larger than a traditional diamond cut while maintaining maximum brilliance. The result is a larger unique diamond for less. Yes, please.
