Custom design starts with an idea, a sketch and ends with beautiful jewelry.
Many designs are created using a hand carved wax as one of the first steps in the process. This allows you to see the design in a 3D manner prior to casting it in the metal of your choice.
Utilizing the latest in polishing machines, each item is buffed to a high polish to make the finish look like brand new.
When looking at any white gold item, you might see a yellow tinge. To restore a bright white finish, we employ a process of plating using Rhodium (a platinum derivative). All white gold fine jewelry repair should take this step to ensure a finished look.
Setting a diamond is a painstaking procedure. The diamond must be protected and secured by the prongs. It takes a skilled and highly trained goldsmith to execute this process.
A specialized tool that our goldsmiths use is a Laser welder. This machine provides the option to do a fine jewelry repair without heat or the fear of damaging fragile gemstones. Bremer Jewelry staff has access to a LazerStar in each location.
As part of the in-house casting process involves melting the casting shot to the perfect temperature.
The casting process continues.
This kiln is heated up to 1300 degrees during a monitored overnight procedure to ensure each item comes out perfectly.
Advanced training in hand engraving allows our goldsmiths to be able to refurbish your antique jewelry.
With so many years of experience, we are able to work with any fine metal.
From the inside of a ring to the barrel of a gun, it is possible to engrave your special message.
